In a utilitarian world of fast solutions, I want to inspire people to take the time and effort to CREATE content for its own sake instead of simply consuming content, and to embrace the mistakes and difficulties that come with the whole beautiful process.

Generative Rings — Patterns of concentric rings with various structures and shapes, entirely drawn in a grayscale style, with lots of independent settings to tune. (Late 2024, early 2026)
Connectivity — Generate grids filled with random blocks that all connect to make continuous shapes, selecting up to 22 different types of unique blocks. (May 2022)
Ink Smear Walker — A random walker with a fading trail smears ink around a pixelated page, creating chaotic and turbulent gradients. (May 2026)
Bands — Generative designs formed by colorful interlocking bands make interesting patterns resembling machinery or spirals. (October 2021—November 2021)
AI-Programmed Art — This is not AI-generated art. This is a more interesting twist on it! I used ChatGPT to write the actual programs that produce generative art. The art itself is deterministic, but the code for the art is from AI. (This is the only place on the whole website with AI-generated code. It's a small isolated experiment, not a replacement for human-coded art.) (December 2022)

Random Walker Shading — A plane is shaded and colored based on the movements of a random walker through thousands of steps, creating colorful and intricate designs resembling galaxies or clouds. (August 2021)

Generative art that replicates and stylizes different processes that can be found in nature


Brownian Snowflake — Generate icy, colorful snowflakes using symmetrical Brownian motion, which reflects how snowflakes form in the real world. (August 2021, December 2025)
Flow Field — Thousands of glowing particles spawn into a flow field and move around, following the direction of the field, creating colorful, flowing trails behind them. This simulates the way that actual particles behave when in a chaotic fluid. (June 2022)
Brownian Tree — Generate and customize colorful tree-like growths made out of dots generated by Brownian motion, which mimics the natural phenomenon of Diffusion-Limited Aggregation. (July 2021)
Gravity Wells — Thousands of points leave glowing trails as they float towards a number of gravity wells around the canvas, leaving flowing patterns in their wake. (May 2022)

Neon Double Pendulum — An interactive physics simulation of a colorful, chaotic double pendulum. (September 2021)
Bounce — A physics simulation about bouncing spheres with lots of customization. This is the first full project I ever created on this website. (2020)
Space Spheres — Create spheres that bounce around a circular boundary, and gravitate towards a draggable black hole. (2022)

(Collection) Fractal Trees — A collection of 4 different fractal tree generators, which create colorful and unique designs that replicate natural tree growth. Each generator is a unique variation on a fractal tree, with very different results. (Early 2021—June 2022)
Fractalization — Turn simple grid designs into colorful and intricate fractals, with endless possibilities. (2020)
Mandelbrot Viewer — A colorful visualization of the famous Mandelbrot Set, which you can pan and zoom infinitely into. The fractal loads through several rendering passes which make it more detailed every time. (June 2022)

Cellular automata are simulations where cells are arranged in a grid or line and have simple rules applied to them over time, so that each cell changes state as a function of time


Conway's Game of Life — A simple 2D cellular automata that demonstrates complex emergence of patterns and designs, with over 250,000 possible rules. (October 2022)
Elementary Cellular Automaton — A simple, two-state 1D cellular automaton simulation with 256 selectable rules. (2021)
Ternary Elementary Cellular Automaton — A colorful, complex, three-state 1D cellular automaton simulation with over 7 trillion selectable rules. (2021)

Bicornum — Lots of unique and interesting stand-alone projects, ranging from 3D fractals to algorithm visualizations to pattern generators.
Geozone — A collection of some extremely satisfying and aesthetic animations and art generators, many mathematically based.
William Hoza — William Hoza is a postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley and has a collection of fun miscellaneous projects that encourage procrastination.
Dwitter — A website where coders are challenged to create amazing projects, animations, or works of art using JavaScript -- except the source code has to be short enough to fit in a Tweet, so every project is limited to 140 total characters of code.

Game of Life (old version of Conway's Game of Life) — A customizable 2D cellular automaton simulation based in simple rules that creates complex and chaotic results. (2021)
Mandelbrot Set (old version of Mandelbrot Viewer) — A colorful and rudimentary Mandelbrot set visualizer. (2021)
Double Pendulum (old version of Neon Double Pendulum) — The chaos of a double pendulum creates intricate and seemingly random line designs. (2021)
Image Manipulation — Select an image or copy an image link, and view different edits of that image. This was originally going to have a lot more to it, but I never got around to doing much more with it. The "Kajfik" section is a reference to the profile picture of the mobile developer for the game Antimatter Dimensions. (circa 2021)
Profile Picture Generator (old version of Profile Generator) — Very simple profile picture generator I made but didn't fully fleshed out because I was never a huge fan of the output. You can generate random profile pictures, with 3 different modes. (circa 2021)
Cards — A project where you click and drag to create cards that bounce and trail around the screen. I was inspired by a Mr. Doob page and decided to try to recreate it. (circa 2021)

Sketchpad — A work-in-progress sketchpad that I never got fully worked out. The main problem was that I wanted to have layers so you could undo an action, but that also meant lots of arrays of points that slowed down the program the more you drew. (circa 2021)
100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall — Another extremely basic project I made back when I was first learning JavaScript. You type in a number, and the program spits out the lyrics to 100 Bottles of Beer, beginning with the number you inputted. I coded this in like 30 minutes on my phone one day to show one of my friends what I'd learned. (circa 2020)
Purple People — A simple simulation of little pixely people wandering around the screen. Click to add more people. I originally wanted to give the purple people AI movement and interactions, but I never got around to implementing it, so they just move randomly. (2020)
DVD on a TV — A super basic project I made back when I was first learning JavaScript. It's literally just a DVD on a TV, like the name suggests. Will it ever hit the corner? (2020)
Catcher — A very simple game I made from following one of the lesson tutorials from S2JS, and one of the first projects I made for this website. Use the arrow keys to move the bug and catch the falling watermelon. (2020)
